- Information about cotton & new wool: Cotton is breathable, biodegradable, regenerable and also regulates temperature and moisture. The natural fiber is easy to clean and has excellent hygienic properties. Cotton breathes, which means it absorbs moisture and releases it again when the air is dry. Cotton does not scratch, does not become electrostatically charged and can be washed very warm. Cotton is absorbent and can absorb up to 80% of its own weight in moisture. Pure new wool always comes from shearing live sheep. It is elastic, retains its shape and does not crease. The yarn is highly insulating and can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp
